Welcome to Papworth Surgery

Submit a new request for urgent or on the day appointments

Important Notices

Communicating with Doctors

We are not able to forward emails or letters onto the Drs regarding medical matters.  You will need to contact the surgery to make an appointment with either the nurse or a Dr.

If your problem is not urgent, please telephone reception from 8:30am onwards and ask for a routine appointment.

If your problem is urgent or you just want to update us on information pertinent to your health, you will need to access our online Triage system.  Please go to our website, papworthsurgery.nhs.uk and go to where it says ‘Submit a new request’.  You can either request an appointment for a medical issue, or click on ‘Admin Query’ if you just want to update us with some information.

The Triage system opens at 8am every weekday morning and closes when we are at capacity.

If you do not have access to the internet please telephone reception at 8:30am who can complete the triage form for you.

Nurse appointments can be made in the same way as previously, by phoning the surgery.

The Drs have full clinics every day and do not have the capacity to start answering letters and emails.

Primarily though, it is not safe practice as documents and emails could easily go missing or sit in someone’s inbox for some time if they are on holiday or off sick.

Thanks for your understanding.
